What is an off-grid solar system?
With a solar system, you are essentially installing a power generating plant in your home. Each solar system converts the sun’s energy into usable household electricity to power your electrical devices. In an off-grid scenario, excess power will be stored in a battery bank to cover your energy requirements overnight. As an off-grid property is totally disconnected from the grid, self-reliance is extremely important. We always recommended a backup fuel generator in case of extended periods with limited sun hours. The best thing about HPS systems is that they are flexible and scalable. You can always add extra panels or even a backup battery at a later date.
